Thanks Jay, Ill keep you posted. I dont expect miracles and I have been told that it could take up to a year to settle. I am aware that this treatment will not cure my keratoconus but will halt it and give a foundation for further treatment hopefully. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! it would be ni...

Ive used Opticrom or Boots own with my RGP's for years. Dont use them with soft lenses if you piggy back tho, it makes them cloudy. I leave the lens out for 20 mins after putting the drops in. works a treat for me. This was recommended by my lens man at Moorfields.

All went wel, took about 1 1/2 hours and was totally painless - until the anesthetic wore off! Ouch. Couldnt see much out of the eye until day 3 as my eyelid w...

Ken Pullum fits my lenses privately. I also see him at Moorfields and then found his private practice. Well worth the trip to his place in Hertford. He has made me the most comfy lenses ive ever had. If you lose or break one, a new one can be made and posted out to you in a matter of days not months...

I thought that was bad enough. They said the treatment was £1,000 - i didnt realise it was per eye! I read something recently from austrialian news dot com where they are trialing the treatment. the equipment costs about $2500 and the B2 $1000, enough for 60 patients. Exciting prospect for KC suf...

David Jory in Harley Street, London Clinic for Refractive Surgery (LCRS) is doing it. £1000 per eye for the C3R. He made me fully aware that the C3R was to thicken and strengthen the cornea and halt the progression. He hasnt promised anything other than that and will reassess regarding the lens i...
