went for my apointment today and asked was there any other types of lens i can wear,i didnt mention the different names but the doctor told me the only lens i can wear is the hard rgp.she said its the only one that will work with my KC.the one i had before and gave up on it.has anyone else been told...

the reason for not trying different lens is because i wasnt told about different types of lens at the clinic.and had not enough information.but have all the information now thanks to this site.going to clinic on friday so will ask plenty questions

thanks bob.thats exactly how i feel the headache gets worse every couple of weeks and gets so bad it feels like a migrane and can last anything up to 10 days,before easing off

just wandering does anyone else have problems wearing sunglasses.have KC in my right eye stopped wearing rgp lens as i couldnt tolerate them.the problem is if i try wearing sunglasses in the summer all i can see is a line right in the middle of my vision kinda feels like theres a lollipop stick sitt...

thanks lynn.i will find out next week when i go what other options i will be given.i will try anything before i even think of a graft.i will ask about the various types of lenses mentioned on the forum.

tried the hard lens about 7 years ago on and of for 12 months.but was never offered another type.will ask about different ones next week when i go .thanks for the answers

got an appointment this from the hospital this morning for next friday to see eye specialist again .hopefully something can be done to solve the headaches.
