Re: Advice Needed
My advice would be to definitely do your traveling first. KC does limit you in some ways while travelling as there are lots of tedious care routines like cleaning contact lenses to deal with, it also has an impact on some of the activities you may like to do e.g swimming can be problematic and dusty...

Re: Doc doesn't care.
My new doc had to look KC up when I told him I had it, I was pleased he was interested to find out what it was :D To be honest you can't expect GP's to know every single issue the human body can be afflicted with, they are called General Practitioners for a good reason. They'll know who the best per...

Re: Corneal Abrasion...
I've had that and the ointment, it ain't nice at all. It did clear up for me though and I hope it should do for you too.
Just take it easy on reintroducing the lens, maybe build up wear time gradually.
Hope it works out.

Fungal eye infection alert
Hi All
Spotted this recently: http://www.ivanhoe.com/channels/p_channelstory.cfm?storyid=13917
Although it mentions problems with soft lenses, it's useful to be aware of.
Cheers, Matt
ps any news on the plans to make solutions available on prescription?
