Re: Anyone tried Kerasoft 3 lenses?

hi, i have a kerasoft3 lens in my left eye. it's been ok - just have to be careful not to over wear it. so far its been comfortable. i'm not that happy with the vision though. i've only ever had hard lenses before now so i can't really compare it to other soft lenses or sclerals. best wishes, tim

Re: New and in need of advice

hi vikki, i'm about to get a kerasoft lens on the nhs so i should imagine that moorfields can offer them as well. i'm sure they must offer piggy back, scleral and all sorts of other lenses as well as they are eye specialists. just ask them to fit you with a different sort of lens and see if they are...

Re: SPORT - Help!

i guess you could consider the surgical option as well, intacs and/or inplantable lenses maybe? i don't know about them much but you could research them.

good luck,

Re: Kerasoft lenses

hi alice,

that's great news!

i'm getting a kerasoft lens in my left eye soon. i hope i get the same results with the glare. i can't get good vision in my right eye with the kerasoft though - which seems v strange.

anyway good luck,

Re: Intacs update/Big pupils/CR3

hi, at what age does KC progress to normally? i had cxl done last year and i'm 26. i notice that there is a study that shows cxl and intacts together work better than seperate. some clinics seem to offer both treatments at the same time. anyway if i were you i would find out if you're KC is likely t...

Re: Collagen Cross linking

hi andrew, yeh it seems that way, new treatments you read about never turn out to be 'the cure' you hoped they would be. anyway, on the positive it seems like cxl is quite straightforward and cheap, and the reports on it are v encouraging, so i hope it gets cleared on the nhs soon so more people can...
