The Group has received it first tax rebate via gift aid. The committee is delighted to announce that £1004.09 had been received by August 2004. Many thanks to all those who registered to have all donations registered for gift aid.

However we calculate that the rebate represents only 24% of the potential gift aid sum. So for all those UK taxpayers who have not registered it is not too late to do so. Contact the Group, or download a form from here. We estimate that the Group could raise a further £3166.

The funds raised will be put towards further development of the Group and support for those with keratoconus. The gift aid rebate has proved particularly welcome in a year without a major fundraising event.
