THE END
Notes
- Stations may be as much as half to three quarters of a mile from start and finish points.
- Each day’s walk will start 15 minutes after stated meeting time.
- All taking part are responsible for meeting their own travel expenses and making their own travel arrangements.
- There are some stretches where refreshments are not readily available so have food and water with you!
- There is a schedule and so the pace may at times have to take account of this – especially on the days with longer sections to be covered.
- Although I am doing this principally for pleasure (OK, I plead insanity!), the KC Group can supply sponsorship forms, so if you are taking part, why not raise some cash for the Group at the same time.
- The official guide to this path “The Capital Ring” published by Autumn Press and compiled by Colin Saunders contains virtually all you need to know about this walk although I have adjusted some of the sections to fit my timetable.
- Hopefully someone will join me each day to ensure I do not get lost – Anne, Sue, Colin, Jill, Mark and other Thames Path veterans – this means you!! All are of course welcome.
- Neither I nor the Keratoconus Group accept any liability or responsibility for the safety, health or welfare of anyone taking part in this walk or travelling to or from it. All do so entirely at their own risk
