Capital Ring walk

Members' voices

Back in 2002, our then Chairman, Mike Oliver, organised a walk of the entire Thames Path, from the (dry) source to Tower Bridge. You can read about the walk on the Thames Walk pages.

Well now he's at it again, only this time he intends to walk the Capital Ring.

The Capital Ring is a circular route covering 78 miles around inner London, which Mike is planning to walk in 9 days starting on Friday 1st September, and finishing on Saturday 9th. The full schedule of the walk is available online.

Hopefully someone will join me each day to ensure that he does not get lost (Anne, Sue, Colin, Jill, Mark and other Thames Path veterans: this means you!) All are of course very welcome.

If you'd like to join Mike on this walk, please download a printable sponsor form and get in touch with Mike at mikeolivermgo@btinternet.com or telephone 07867 677770.
