Any recommendations as moving to this area, can be NHS or private

For private optoms, have you looked at the list here https://www.keratoconus-group.org.uk/optoms/index.php
There are optoms listed in all 3 towns. For lenses at NHS rates, you'd need a referral to a hospital eye clinic. The main one in the area is St James in Leeds, which has a contact lens dept and sees lots of people with KC.

Wayne who is based at David Myers in Leeds City Centre is superb x
May09 Diagnosed with KC, March 2010 after a failed transplant it has left me legally blind a long cane user (since 2010) who is blind in a once sighted world
