A big thank you to the 32 people that came to the 11th March meeting and especially to Denise McCormick, our speaker, who gave much useful information and generated a lot of discussion. We also had a brief but interesting summary of the personal account of someone affected by KC who has self-published a short book about his story and Ash Winter will come back to talk more at our October meeting.
Because of holidays and the heavy bookings of the Community Hub, our next meeting will not be until Saturday 10th August at 11:00 (in John Lewis as usual) and the speaker will be Professor Martin Rubinstein talking about contact lenses. Those of you at last year’s conference may remember that Professor Rubinstein was in the audience with two of the Conference speakers paying tribute to him so this should be a very good talk.
The third and final meeting of 2019 will be on Saturday 12th October, same time and place, when Ash Winter will tell his story in more detail (and have his book available to purchase).
