Nothing stranger than real life...

Postby Loopy-Lou » Thu 21 May 2009 5:49 pm

This is the place to put your silly/funny/humiliating stories from real life.

I'll kick off;

A mate sends me a little doggie, and this doggie barks when you drop him, so the postman knocks on my door, hands over a package and the package is BARKING!!!
Somehow it got triggered so this postman had to carry around a barking package!
*falls over laughing*

Turned up at the stables today to see Duke.
One of the mares there is expecting a foal - it's been any day now for weeks!
Said hallo to the other people there and said "I suppose we've not got a foal yet, have we?"
And got told: Oh yes, didn't you get the text? It was twins - one colt, one filly; one piebald, one skewbald (brown an dwhite).
Was convinced they were winding me up. They protested they really meant it - and were so united in it!
Discussed how the four possible fathers - one brown, one palomino, one whit ean done dark grey - couldhave produced those colour offspring and whether the two had different dads.
Still thought they were winding me up. They were really straight-faced.
Wanted to know which one I was going to have and if I could think of any good names.
They were winding me up - no foals inthe field, only a very large and slow moving black mare.
And Duke.... and the others normally in the field, of course.
Rosemary
