i know it seems to be a strange question but really want to know;what is the happiest day in your life? :D :D
for indeed,it is not the eyes that grow blind but it is the hearts which are within the bosoms that grow blind...

A amd day in March 2002.

The day I knew Yeovil Town would get promoted to the football league for the first time ever. Not the day they were actually promoted, but the day on which we played Halifax away, and it all slotted in to place...we were going up!

Oh and there's the birth of my children, marriage and all that too.....

I don't know that I can give an absolutely definitive answer to this question, but it has to be one of these three:

1 The day I married Alison. Maybe the day she and I agreed to marry, or perhaps the day we got engaged are alongside the day we actually married, but for the first of the three happiest days of my life so far, these have to be contenders!

2 The day my daughter was born. I was there in the tiny cottage hospital in Aberdeen whre my daughter was born. I wept and on the short drive home afterwards I had to stop twice while I tried to stop weeping tears of sheer joy.

3 The day my son was born. If anyone imagines that I'd have got over being all weepy at the advent of new life, they would be completely mistaken.

I cannot say which of these and neither can I say whether there are going to be any more to rival them. But these are the happiest days so far!

Ahhh you big softy Andrew!!!

I cried too (a bit) when my eldest was born......as for the second it was all a bit more dramatic and I was too busy being in shock and fear and keeping out of the way....all was well in the end though I am delighted to say. :D
