Variable vision experiences

Postby tripplanner » Sat 06 Jul 2013 5:34 pm

Do any of you experience variable vision? My husband has had KC for 10 years and has lived with better vision days and poor vision days.

If you have had this experience, it would be so so helpful to have your comments. Thank you in advanced!

Yes, I think almost everyone with KC experiences this. And not just better and worse days, but also changes over the course of the day, with the vision getting worse as the day goes on and the eyes/brain get tired. So your husband is certainly not alone in this!

Can anyone refer me to a medical study, paper or anything written on this experience? I have to provide proof for legal purposes.

I don't know of a medical study (though some of the professionals who post here might). But if you put New Sight Registration Possibility into the search engine on this forum, you'll find a thread back in May 2010 with lots of replies from forum users giving examples of how variable vision affects people with KC.
