This year's Annual General Meeting will be held in the Clinical Tutorial Complex (same location as last year) on the second floor at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London on Saturday 25th March at 11am.
All are welcome.
Apart from the run-of-the-mill AGM stuff, we also hope to arrange a guest speaker, details to be confirmed.
Follow this link for a map showing Moorfields which you can zoom and drag around.

Well, it'll be standard AGM-type things to do with the Charity which runs the forum and the main website. This will be followed by a guest speaker, details to be confirmed.
Then we'll have time to chat to each other over refreshments. People are already talking about ajourning to a local hostelry for a social gathering afterwards, too!

Hope to see lots of you there.

Oh it has been written up then i see! They did contact me a few weeks ago to let me know that they were thinking of getting things published this year and would i be interested in knowing the results. Yes i would like to know after taking part and dragging my poor twin sister through a very unappreciated blood test!! Hehe, she still doesn't thank me for that, but hey it was all in the interest of research and our future treatment!
See you there!

No it was for anyone who had a close relative with KC as well, e.g a brother, sister or parent. They had a few sets of twins some identical the same as my sister and i and were very interested in finding out what differences there are as identical twins obviously share the same DNA. The study was based on trying to establish the cause of KC being either genetic or by environmental reasons such as eye rubbing etc.
My sister is about five or six years behind me with KC as she didn't get diagnosed or need lenses until about six years after i did. She has good vision with lenses in both eyes and at the moment has little problems, whereas i have never had good vision with my left eye and have had numerous problems with my right last year.
It will be very interesting to learn of their results.
