Coffee & Tea - Should I Cut Back Or Stop?

I don't know if it's my imagination, but I think I have noticed my eyesight being worse after drinking coffee.
I've had KC since 2006 and have been trying to cope with just spectacles, but will be getting contact lenses soon since the specs are no longer adequate.

I'm aware that coffee & tea have caffien which can cause dehydration and I do drink a lot of water.

I've considered cutting back on tea & coffee (and have had the headaches from caffeine withdrawl), but elsewhere we read about caffeine in moderation being good for you and helping prevent Alzheimer's.

Have others in KC group noticed coffe and tea affecting their sight and is it necessary or advisable to quit drinking drinks with caffeine?

What i do is still to have a morning cup of coffee (full caffiene) as i arrive at work, having drunk a fruit tea at home. I then generally drink fruit teas or de-caff coffee for the rest of the day along with plenty of water/cordial juice. This i apply on weekends, though dont generally drink quite so much fruit teas as not got 8 other people asking if i want a brew all day :D

I now allow myself one cup of espresso per day and often have no other caffeine. I don't notice my sight is any better but I do sleep at night.

I don't believe a few cups of tea or coffee per day will impact on sight personally
