Postby space_cadet » Wed 21 Apr 2010 9:07 pm

as topic title says, major infection in DALK, needs cutting out, stitches have come out, depending on state of it when they put me to sleep next thursday may end up needing a fresh DALK.

Lea

This is bad news and I am so sorry. I know that you will be concerned about whether you could have prevented this outcome by having a more sedate approach to life in the days and weeks after your first graft.

Where you are is where you are; worrying about what you could have done differently will not transport you to a better place. Take things as they come. If you need another operation, then another operation will take you a step nearer to where you want to get: good eyesight and pain free eyes.

Do let us know how you get on. In the meantime I am sure that everybody here is on your side as you face this new challenge.

Yours aye

Andrew
