No I dont know what was in the drops. A chemical that smelt of eggs. In Eastern europe the Dr's do not really offer the patient much explanation partly due to language and partly due to a differnt culture where during Socialism DR's where seen as gods not to be questioned. In a funny way its not un-like the UK nowadays. Old habits die hard as we say and my experience of eastern europe may be relevant for another forum rather than this one. Although I would love to tell you about it as it is interesting.

Hi cclman, and good to hear from you again.
SOrry to hear about the headaches. Yes, it could be because your eyes an dhence vision are vhanging and your brain is finding it a strain to interpret what it sees.
It could also be that the two eyes are changing at different rates or in different directions and your visual cortex (? - is that right?) is finding it a headache to match up the two different world views.
Hope things get sorted out for you.
Rosemary

Yes it is good to see you again, but your news is a bit grobby.

Stay in touch with your ophthalmologist. Make sure that you know what you want to ask each time you go for a consultation, and make sure that you get answers that you understand each time. Tell your ophthalmologist that you are having headaches and ask whether this is normal.

What Rosemary says does make sense, but it does no harm to underline for your ophthalmologist just how difficult this time is proving for you.

All the best

Andrew

Whats "grobby" is that Scottish?? My eye Dr is Czech so its not see easy!! but I'll tell him about the headaches it may well be because my eyes are changing I will be at the 6 month marker In March. Fingers crossed but I'll probably need new glasses again and may get one intact in the bad right eye. :?

Dolorous from Latin dolorosus, from Latin dolor ‘pain, grief.’
Adjective: Provoking pain or grief in another.

I am sure that you remember the use of the word in Arthurian Legend?
