mine are £150 each....NHS must subsidise the cost quite alot then.

The NHS charges a standard rate (currenly around £50 per lens) for all lenses, regardless of their original cost. therefore where the clinical indicators are right, it is possible to have a scleral which is extremely expensive as contact lenses go for the same price as a relatively less expensive RGP. The cost of the RGP is also subsidized, but not to so great an extent.

I am getting Kerasoft 3 ....... Which one give best in vison and comfort

scleral , synerg or Kerasoft3

From what my contact lens fitter has said it would depend on each individuals condition. Her opinion is that Kerasoft wouldnt give me as good vision as the SynergEyes lenses - she does fit both Kerasoft and SynergEyes to various patients so has experience of both types of lenses.
My contact lens fitter has been fitting the SynergEyes lenses for about 9-12 months now.
Life is too short for drama & petty things!
