Does anyone have a cheaper source or cheaper alternative?

I use Boots sterile saline. It does the job, it's much cheaper and also comes in a travel size.

Is the Boots sterile saline preservative free?

No mention of it being preservative free, just sterile. If you are looking for preservative free specifically the current one you are using is being sold for £6 at amazon. Cheaper than ebay but if your able to get it for £3 from your optom, I doubt your going to find it anywhere much cheaper.
