Cxl at notts Qmc

just had my appointment for cxl at the QUEENS MEDICAL CENTRE nottingham in one eye my other is KC free
my questions some of which may be obscure
1: any member had this done@ Qmc? as well panicking about it would help my pre op nerves
2: will haveing cxl in one eye affect my good eye
3: thinking of staying close to hospital for the 1st night in a hotel as live 2 hrs away and just a bit concerned if i am going to have problems i am close my a/e isnt 24 hour though i would rather be at home as i read the post op pain can vary alot so not sure which way to go
