Clinical Trial of CXL in children gets the go ahead

Some of you will remember reading in last summer's newsletter that 3 hospitals (Moorfields, St Paul's Eye Unit in Liverpool and the Hallamshire in Sheffield) were applying for funding for this trial. Their application has been successful and the trial will start recruiting in spring 2016. We'll give more details as we get them but this will be very valuable research into how crosslinking works for youngsters under 17.
