My glasses are AR coated and they really help me driving and reading - the optician says most people with Keratoconus he sees (specialist opticians) benefit from the coating as its cuts light entering the eye.

I have the same issue with my RGPs, starbursts at night time driving it's not as bad as it used to be. I did not even consider getting glasses with AR. So I take it I can just pop into opticians and request glasses with AR, should be ok? Or is there any special requirements for those with KC and wear RGPs?

Thanks in advance.

I wear contact lenses and glasses (at the same time). My specs are AR coated.
