I have a health policy that covers dental and optical so can claim back the cost of lenses up to a certain amount depending on what cover you buy. If I haven't had to claim I make sure I get my money's worth by getting either my wife or myself a new pair of glasses. As long as you get receipts with your name and address on and what it's for they just pay out. It covers the whole family and a lot of other things too. Well worth it for KC sufferers with expensive lenses to buy.
