Not an optician, but I noticed, even when my sight was so poor that I was registered blind, that I got a single sharp image through binoculars.

I think this is because the optical lens (the end near the eye) is so close to the eye itself that the distorting effect of the cornea is eliminated.

My double vision seems to affect hard objects most ie distinct solid areas of colour. So eyes are always doubled up to me everyone is a 'four eyes'! Some times I get 3 or 4 images but never glorious octa-vision, I am glad to say!

Don't feel bad, whether it's double-image or multiple-image it affects us!

It may not get worse. My left eye has only ever had double-vision and also excellent sight.

Donna, before my graft, my "good eye" was seeing 20/900

Don't we all wonder just why we were chosen for the task of hauling KC around? Just lucky, I guess.

(Counting down till Mardi Gras......then the St. Patrick's Season!)
