Re: Honest Opinions Please
Crosslinking will not guarantee a life without contact lenses for your son, but that does not mean that it is not worth exploring. Take advice from your NHS consultant. It may be possible for the procedure to be offered without cost to you. Even if you do have to go private, your NHS consultant may ...

Re: Anyone Wearing Sclerals?
My all time favourite lenses were Sclerals. Can't wear them now after transplant surgery, but they were comfortable to wear, easy to insert/remove and give me really good sight.

I use Clinitas Soothe, and have done more or less since it came on the market. It suits me. I get in online.

Re: Given up with Piggybacking
Hello Kieran I couldn't cope with piggybacking either. I moved on to a scleral which was amazing. The thing here is that Keratoconus is a 'bespoke' condition; what works for me might not work for you and just because a ton of people get on well with one lens does not mean that everybody else will. K...

Re: Kerasoft - quick question
This has been interesting. Re: driving and KC
The best idea seems to be to notify the DVLA immediately you have a diagnosis of KC. Give them permission to contact your ophthalmologist.
I have no restrictions on my license and my KC has no impact on my insurance.

Re: KC at work.
In your plce I'd ask for a work place assessment. There are all sorts of things that your employer can do to make your use of the PC easier on your eyes.
Your employer will not need to ear to cost of these adjustments alone. JobCentre Plus will provide assistance, if your need is great enough.

Re: intact surgery gone wrong
Hello, I am sorry that this surgery has not worked for you. I am not sure whether you are asking about getting the INTACS re-inserted or recovering your sick leave?
