Re: Katie Piper - The Science of Seeing
I felt there was a degree of unnecessary material in the program. Did she really need to fly to the states and talk to a religious woman about the ethics of it all? Fact is that the program needed 'bulking out' to last it's hour long slot, where realistically 45 or 30 minutes would have done. I, for...

Re: Interesting programme on next week
I was actually at the Centre of Sight when she arrived. I had NO idea who she was/is but the staff were quite excited when she arrived. It would explain why she had a few people with her and why flowers were delivered (from her agent I imagined) when she arrived. Thanks for flagging the programme up...

Re: BOTH EYES NOT WORKING TOGETHER
Hi Caroline, I have had a similar experience to you. My left eye (DALK eye) is improving but my vision is still not great when using both eyes together (which I do the vast majority of the time). I was told the same about it taking time and that I could get headaches. I haven't had any for a while t...

CXL and DALK
Hi, As some of you may remember I had CXL done in my right eye and a DALK in my left eye. My left eye is getting decent vision, 4 months or so after the surgery. Although it does take a second or so to really focus. I feel it is getting stronger and that I'm managing it ok. My right eye is my concer...

DALK and X-rays
Just a quickie.... Had a DALK in September and a have also had a rather nasty cough/chesty thing going on since about Mid-Septemeber. I was originally told it was a viral thing and would clear up - here I am 2 months later still having a chesty coughy thing, slight shortness in breath and discomfort...

Re: A potential crazy question
Hi Claire, Thanks for you reply and well wishes. The phial itself was no=where near the milk and certainly didn't come into contact with it. I spoke to someone at the clinic today who pretty much echoed what you said. I'm just being cautious really. The vision is still a bit hazy today but not hugel...

Re: Dexamethasone
Thanks for your reply Chris, Yeh it's the minims you mentioned. Since posting this I have been told by the surgeon that I can use one phial for the day. So, I open it in the morning and use the same one 4 times that day. Each time I put the lid back on and keep it in it's plastic sachet...thing :p

Re: Extreme light sensitivity
Hey Caroline,
Sorry to hear your problems have been going on so long - at least they've been identified and you can go on from there!
Did he say how long it would take until you saw any improvements?
