Re: Kerasoft IC and K3 Trial

So I take it that the use of a lens depends on what options the hospital fitters know of and also their confidence in fitting a particular lens (?) - both of which should be increased where its not holding anyone back (please correct me if I'm wrong or if there are other elements also, which i am su...

Re: Kerasoft IC and K3 Trial

I say,the more contacts for KC the better, and we are quite lucky to have many to choose from if we add them all up in number, if only they can get to where they are needed at a fitting room ! Does anyone know when Kerasofts may be able to be got easily from NHS hospitals ? (the costs of them thus r...

Re: Kerasoft IC and K3 Trial

I did know for motor sports you had to have 20/20 in both eyes (with out RGPS, that I knew), I thought it would be the same as with holding a driving license. May be with drag racing or F One its different again ? Do they test your eyes before every race ? is the test done as with the driving licens...

Re: Kerasoft IC and K3 Trial

Fantastic ! its very good vision now and you may not notice the 6/5 being less than 6/6 as its so close (there are many who walk around with 6/5 not knowing its 6/5 and thinking all is well and they have 6/6, its not much in it) with both eyes open. I get 6/9 in my good eye uncorrected and I can't r...

CJ,

Ask your medical team about these

http://www.eyeshieldtechnology.com/duoshades.htm

Post Lasik patients are given these by some centres just after their Op, no need for sticky tape !

Re: i need hope plz

Hi there, It all depends, is the short answer, you will need to get the advice of someone who has trained to do this treatment. Its only if your KC is progressing you need to think about treatment for that. The treatment is not being used to improve vision, only to try to prevent any loss that may o...

Re: HELP - I'm getting no replies! why?

Hi Peter, Glad things are more on a level now for you. I wanted to ask, who this someone was you mentioned on your first post. someone who told me my kerrasoft lenses would cost me 50 pounds per month If you get contacts from your hospital it would be a small fraction of this cost. There is more of ...
