Re: Open area for East Midlanders
I can't see how to create a new thread in this sub-forum? Is it locked?
Any East Midlanders going to the AGM on Saturday? I'll be on the train that arrives at St Pancras at 09:14 if anyone wants to meet on the train for a coffee.
Cheers,

Re: What job do you do and how does keratoconus affect it?
I'm a manager for an IT consultancy and also spend too many hours staring at a screen. The things that impact my efficiency are stuff like not being able to see a powerpoint presentation unless sitting right at the front and the degraded vision at the end of a long day.

Re: Make a donation or leave a lasting legacy to the KC Grou
Is Big Give still the most effective way of making a donation? The original post is over four years old now and some of these intermediaries take a commission from donations.
Given they support Give Aid it may well still be the best way but thought it worth checking first.
Thanks,

Re: Friends & Familly Key to Support
Pretty sad that in such a small community there are some who think PMs such as that are helpful.
As an occasional poster I just wanted to say thanks for your contributions Gareth, much appreciated.

Re: Advice for contact lenses pricing please...
I manage 16 hours a day 7 days a week with hybrids. When I had kerasofts they were needing to be taken out after 12 or so hours so what I did was wear glasses for the commute to work and then put then lenses in around 9am. Wearing the glasses after lens was just too much of a step change in vision.

I've been told my post has been interpreted as obnoxious, condescending, insensitive and seriously offensive.
I apologise.
