Re: Piggy Backing

Thanks all

Don't worry I won't share your true ages with anyone :)

The reason I was told piggybacking was not a good option was due to lack of oxygen. Has this been an issue for any of you long term piggybackers or saceral users?

Thanks again

Re: Piggy Backing

Hi Rosemary Thanks for all the info What NHS trust are you in? Glasgow have said that I can't have dailies, so I was going to complain to the Trust & my MP. However, after some reading on the web, I've found out that most dailies are the same specification as weekly lenses, so if you are careful...

Re: Piggy Backing

Hi Lia I did try a Rose K on its own & was also too sore, but maybe an option if I can piggy back. I agree with you, I only wear my lens to work, so I hope my Dr will agree to let me continue, as I'm not wearing it for a whole day. Also as you say the Tru Eye is great lens with good oxygen readi...

Re: The day is here

I'm sorry to hear that, you sound like you had "sod's law" too! I had to get emergency surgery to get my wisdom teeth out after my INTCAS (not related to the INTACS) , then i got hit by an ASDA truck then next week!......Thankfully I'm fully recovered from my year from hell I hope it gets ...

Re: Removing Piggyback lenses

Hi again Ow thats not nice, hope you are OK. Bear in mind even after a graft you may need a lens too So, just in case, I forgot to say something really simple! If you take out your RGP (by whatever method you like) wait a few seconds & blink hard several times & your soft lens should always ...

Re: The day is here

Hi

Have you been to see you Dr yet to check your vision? Hows it feeling now?

I hope its going well for you & that its improved your vision

Unfortunately my KC did not improve, just a slight improvement on my myopia, so i'm now looking into cross linking

Wishing you all the best

Re: Removing Piggyback lenses

Hi The sucker won't work on the soft lens, only the hard one E bay is great place to get a sucker & I have no idea why most of the UK don't use them as standard. I'd be lost without mine & its fab for is a lens gets stuck or displaced on the removal of the soft one, I was told never to pinch...

Re: Piggy Backing

Hi How are you getting on now, did you get a lens to work? I WAS GIVEN INTACS & IT DIDN'T WORK TOO WELL BUT ALLOWED ME TO TRY A RGP, BUT I COULDN'T WEAR IT AS IT WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE I WAS THEN TOLD I WASN'T SUITABLE & GIVEN NO OTHER LENS OPTIONS! SO I WENT IN THE HUFF WITH THE NHS & SAW...
