Re: Vision when taking contacts out

I find that piggybacking seems to create more mucus than when I wore just RGPs, maybe that causes the clouding? I don't take my lens out until I go to bed so don't really notice what my vision is like then.

Re: Please help me.

http://visionsimulations.com/simulators/ghosting-vision-simulator I've found this link - which was posted by someone here - very useful in explaining to others the kind of vision that KC suffers have to deal with. Maybe arrange a meeting with your boss, take him through some examples and explain tha...

Re: Piggybacking - more advice

I'm finding eye drops during the day are helping with comfort and vision with my piggybacks - I sit in an air-conditioned office right underneath a vent.

Re: Anyone Not Able to Wear Contact Lenses?

Likewise I find piggyback RGPs do a good job for me in reducing ghosting. It does vary through the day though - I've found taking both lenses out and rinsing them in the afternoon helps if I have a long day planned.

Crosslinking is available on the NHS at a few hospitals in the UK, though not yet at Leicester.[/quote]

That's interesting. I have an appointment with one of the consultant's at Leicester on Thursday, I'll ask why and whether he thinks it may change any time soon.
