Re: please help- eye redness

just a though but could you take pictures (or get someone to take the pictures for you) that you can take to the consultant next time you see him to show him how your eye is each day. This may help him understand what is happening, especially if it hasnt happened on a day when you have an appointment

Re: Ok,So I've Just Been....

I will be honest with you, though this not what you are going to want to hear. I lost my PCV entitlement due to KC - at that time i was still getting good corrected vision with both eyes (KC only in left) with glasses. I passed my PCV in summer 1997, and i know that there are grandfather rights appl...

Re: Coffee & Tea - Should I Cut Back Or Stop?

What i do is still to have a morning cup of coffee (full caffiene) as i arrive at work, having drunk a fruit tea at home. I then generally drink fruit teas or de-caff coffee for the rest of the day along with plenty of water/cordial juice. This i apply on weekends, though dont generally drink quite ...

Re: sobering reading

that is truely scary. What the hell is an xray going to if it is a problem wi the front of our eyes. On a personal note i would either go n see my optician or the eye a&e department. The opticians in the first instance as they have all my records to hand, know my eyes and have the appropriate eq...

Re: i had my eye ,surgery.

After i had my intacs op last month, my eye was hurting for best part of a week, and it was a good week before i could keep the eye open all day. Give yourself time and keep stocked up on paracetamol in the meantime

Re: Sore Eyes

Dont feel bad for always "appearing to moan", most of us at one time or other have probably griped/moaned about the condition on here as there is probably at least one other person who understands the frustrations and problems that comes with KC that you are suffering with. As time goes on...

Re: The day is here

Well nearly one week on from intacs in the left eye, i have got my first day where i can have my eye open for more than a few minutes at a time. Eye feels very dry, and is still slightly swollen however most of the redness has gone. I am still on (4 times per day) antibiotic drops until end of the w...
