Re: KC and Reading vision
Andrew,
The problem I have is that reading specs alone will not correct the KC enough to allow me to read, so two pairs of specs are needed, does that make sense?

KC and Reading vision
At the moment I am getting by with specs as I have not yet been supplied lenses I can tolerate for long periods. When I have the lenses in I can wear a pair of reading glasses, but when I have my distance specs on I end up with two pairs perched on my nose to read, and get some strange glances as we...

Re: Kerasoft lenses
Steven,
I have requested Kerasoft at my hospital in Cardiff, and it went in one ear and out of the other.
They are of the opinion that they are not often successfull, but I know that is not the case by reading posts on this forum.
Frustrating or what!
Cheers

Re: KC Treatment
I must agree with Steven on this one, there seems to be no coordination beetween departments or monitoring of the situation. It seems to me that all they want to do is to send you away with as good a vision as they can in as quick a time as they can. While this may help us in the short term, we are ...

Re: What should we do?
Anne,
Is this forum not about sharing good and bad experiences?
While I agree that we should not name individuals surely there is no problem naming and shaming Hospitals offering poor treatment to KC'ers.
Editing posts should be for extreme cases only.

Diagnosing KC
Guys,
What is the difference beetween having KC and a severe astigmatism?
I wondered this because many of the symptoms appear the same.
Over to you wise people.
