Re: Where can I get hybrids in London or Kent ?

Sorry, I don't know what the costs are, but for practitioners, have you looked at the list on our website (the link was in my first post in reply to you).

Re: Diagnosed with KC but unsure of treatment given

Hi Ben and welcome,
That does sound confusing and I'd have thought you need to contact the optometrist to check this out. Are you getting your lenses/glasses from a High Street optometrist or from a hospital eye clinic?

Urgent message re London meeting this Saturday

I have just been told that the Clinical Tutorial Unit has moved from the main hospital to Moorfields administrative buildings at 15 Ebenezer Street. This is just a very short walk from the hospital - simply cross the main road (City Road) and go up either Provost Street or Brittania Walk. Ebenezer S...

Re: To all who have joined this forum recently

Hi Lisa and welcome, though I'm sorry such a nasty ulcer has brought you here. Can't help with your question on how long your pain and discomfort will last, I'm afraid, though hopefully you have another check up soon. The only corneal ulcer I've ever had was much less serious and cleared up in a wee...

Re: BEST SOFT CONTACT LENS FOR POST GRAFT?

Our eyes are so individual, whether pre or post graft, that as we say so often here, a lens that works well for one person won't necessarily suit someone else. So I don't think it's possible to say what's the 'best'. I hope you find the one that works for you.

Re: Next London meeting 14th October

I hope we'll see lots of members at this meeting next week.
And the KC Group will have a stand at Moorfields on Thursday 12th October for World Sight Day. So if you have an appointment that day, do come along and say hello.

Sadly no. There would certainly have been more info here if it had come to anything.

Re: Struggling with pain

Although headaches are not uncommon with KC if our eyes are unbalanced and we're struggling to focus properly, I don't think this amount of pain is common. I don't know what to suggest, apart from talking again to your optometrist and specialist. Maybe a referral to an orthoptist (who can sometimes ...

Re: KC Optician Leeds/Wetherby/Harrogate

For private optoms, have you looked at the list here https://www.keratoconus-group.org.uk/optoms/index.php There are optoms listed in all 3 towns. For lenses at NHS rates, you'd need a referral to a hospital eye clinic. The main one in the area is St James in Leeds, which has a contact lens dept and...
