Re:
Jenny It is good to know we are not alone. We got his first lens 8 weeks ago. He is coping ok, however he is finding it hard to remove the lens. His eyes are very sore and red for a long time after. The hospital have been fantastic, we have to go every 4 weeks, so he enjoys time off school. However ...

Re: Advice please
Anne Thank you for the advice. I do hope the lens gives him better vision. He is very young I feel for any kind of invasive procedures, it worries me at the moment more than it worries him. He is the average eleven year old into sport etc and I guess we will have fun with the lens. I can imagine lot...

I do hope that at eleven years old he can tolerate them. His other eye at the moment is 6/5. After some research we have fou...

In the childrens department they don 't see any children with KC. We were in an adult clinic and have returned with ...

Re: A Vision Test
Yes I agree what a very expensive hobby kids are, but worth it after all they do choose your old peoples home. We have been told that KC runs in families and there is a very strong chance that if my son has kids it will pass on to them. We don"t know where it has come from all we do know is tha...

Re: My Intacs Experience
My money making son was over the moon with the replies. On a serious note I am sure we have a long road ahead. We find out in four weeks if the KC is in his other eye {I am told this may happen] I dont believe in keeping any info from him about the future. His consultant doesnt see any children with...
