Re: The lives people lead..

I'm quite lucky as my KC is not to ad although since losing half of my IC Ring my vision in my left eye is awful however I still regularly train kickboxing and jiu jitsu, I train and perform as a professional wrestler and I work as a prison officer where I am actively involved in Use of Force under ...

G'day Team, I posted about a year ago in regards to my KC situation and how I had to have one half of my Intac ring removed due to it causing a tear in my cornea back in December 2021, Since then I have had regular check ups at East Grinstead QVH and it seems they are happy with how things have sett...

Hello Gang, long time lurker rare poster here just thought I'd post about my recent experience in case anyone else encounters it.... I had an Intac ring fitted into my left eye in 2014 followed up by Corneal Cross Linking on both eyes, this was all arranged by QVH East Grinstead who are incredible a...

Re: Final Cross-linking procedure and actually recieved some good news

That's brilliant mate I'm glad things are working out for you! I don't want to burst your bubble but my vision got a lot better after a few weeks but then it gradually went back to how it was beforehand... hopefully you'll retain some of your good vision; it certainly isn't unheard of  Tha...

Re: Final Cross-linking procedure and actually recieved some good news

I went home after the procedure and healing seemed to be going well, my vis...

Re: Final Cross-linking procedure and actually recieved some good news

I have to admit over the past 24 hours or so I have been questioning whether I am genuinely happy or if I was just high on good news, on the one hand I like the idea of only requiring one contact lens to see decently, but on the other I would prefer sharper vision without ghosting. Luckily if I do d...
