Glad you have all found this thread helpful! The active ingredient is hyaluronic acid, it is used in face creams, as a gel, and as a face pack for beauty as well! On your next optom visit if you keep taking them, in a slit lamp they will see the diff in tear layer

It can take uo to a month

Are you finding any increase comfort or difference yet?

The opthamlologist said as long as when they do an eye test you are 20/20 with both eyes you dont need to declare it.

Obviously if your vision declines you can not drive, would not be insured, and must inform the DVLA.

My optom has confirmed that due to what i mention i have a full thick tear layer where i previously had a thin quickly evaporating tear layer
