On your next optom visit if you keep taking them, in a slit lamp they will see the diff in tear layer
It can take uo to a month

The opthamlologist said as long as when they do an eye test you are 20/20 with both eyes you dont need to declare it.
Obviously if your vision declines you can not drive, would not be insured, and must inform the DVLA.
