Re: Intacs followed by Cross Linking?

Thank you so much Lynn for your detailed reply. At this stage I think the plan is to only treat my son's left eye as that is considerably worse than the other and the deterioration has been much more rapid. His vision is good with contacts but the problem is that as he is an HGV driver his vision ne...

Re: Intacs followed by Cross Linking?

Hi Claire Thank you so much for your reply. Am really pleased to know also that you were able to have the procedure done under general anesthetic! My sons vision is really bad in one eye (he has K in both) and he has been wearing hard contacts for 3 years now. The consultant said that by doing the I...

Thanks to all........yes I think its definately worth thinking about a spare pair of contacts for my son, especially as I was told by Moorfields today that one of the contacts would ONLY be able to be made by them and not a "High Street" optician. Also special "Hi" to Anne Bishop...

Moorfields have just rung back and reluctantly agreed to post off my sons prescription, the Consultant will be marking it with a disclaimer or something apparently, but am SO pleased I tried again. Thank you all for your replies, has given me the courage to ring (yes it is MOORFIELDS) yet again and ask for copy of the prescription. Have been put onto the "Supervisor" who is going to put notes before the Consultant to see if he will agree. Problem seems to be that they haven't seen my...
